Woodstock Yoga House

Accommodations:

Welcome to the Woodstock Yoga House.  We have 7 bunk beds and 1 private room (can be shared).  We provide sheets, blanket and towels.  No smoking or alcohol is permitted in the house. We maintain and peaceful and quiet environment with quiet hours 9pm-9am.

For all events at the Yoga House, you may also opt to stay at nearby Airbnbs or hotels.

We have a washer and dryer available for your use.

The house has a total of 3 shared bathrooms. 

The town of Woodstock is full of cafes and shops and is walking distance (30 min) from the house. 

We have a large fenced yard with a big porch, tables and chairs and patio with a fire pit. 

You do not need to have a car if you are staying at the house but we do have parking space if you decide to bring a car.

The house is located in a quiet beautiful neighborhood with miles of quiet streets to walk along beautiful fields and streams.

Food:

We normally provide evening meals during trainings and immersions.  We do not provide a meal on the last day.  

All of our meals are simple, delicious and vegan.  We are not able to accommodate special diet requests, but please do let us know if you have serious allergies. 

All other meals are your responsibility.  We do have a full kitchen and a half kitchen.  We have a blender, coffee maker, tea, slow cooker, toaster oven, microwave, 2 refrigerators.  Students often cook together or go to nearby restaurants and cafes.  We ask that you do not bring any non-vegan foods into the house.

Train: https://www.amtrak.com   You can take the Amtrak from NY Penn station (NYP) to Rhinecliff (RHI) and either get an Uber/Lyft from there or we can help you arrange a ride.  The RHI station is about 30 minutes from the house.  It’s a gorgeous train ride up the Hudson River.  Highly recommended. 

BUS:  The Adirondack Trailways bus is very nice and easy trip from Port Authority in NYC to Woodstock NY. If you plan to take the bus, please buy BOTH bus tickets in advance. I suggest taking the bus that arrive sat 6:15pm on the night before and departs 7:47pm on the last day. We can pick you up at the bus stop - Village Green in Woodstock - and drop you off at the end.

CARPOOL : We will email everyone a couple fo weeks before the training so you can connect and possible arrange carpool rides.

Flights : If you are flying in, You can fly to either JFK (International) or LGA and then take a Taxi to the Train or Bus (See above), or rent a car and rive to the house. 

You may also fly into Albany Airport and rent a car to drive to Woodstock - about 1 hr drive.
