Meridian Yoga Teacher Certification
Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu
5 Days Practice and Teaching Intensive with Dr Rose Erin Vaughan, and SOS team
This training offers an excellent opportunity for Yoga teachers and students seeking to develop the skills required to create sequences centered on specific meridians or elements. By mastering this approach, you can customize sequences for private clients with particular needs or design group classes built around inspiring themes.
A deep understanding of the Five Elements enables you to target distinct emotions, seasonal energies, and common health conditions effectively. For instance:
Water Element: Ideal for sequences addressing fear and trauma, aligning with the winter season, promoting deep rejuvenation, and supporting issues related to aging.
Wood Element: Suited for releasing anger and frustration, harmonizing with the spring season, and alleviating general muscle tension.
Fire Element : Helps create a sense of connection to the innermost Self, the Divine and others around us, bringing more Joy and inspiration while relieving depression and anxiety. Fire element is a great Summer practice.
Earth Element : Great for invigorating the physical body, digestion and metabolism and sharpening the intellect. Earth demands a strong physical practice and is a great practice for late summer.
Metal Element : Ideal for cultivating a sense of “letting go” or surrender, resolving grief, improving Lung health and opening the throat. Metal Element is aligned with the Autumn season.
Incorporating elemental focus into your yoga sequences enriches your teaching practice and enhances the therapeutic benefits for your students.
